• Assist in establishments of field experiments
  
• Assemble instruments/equipment and install them in the field:
  
  - lysimeters for nutrient leaching
  
  
  
  - chamber bases/hoods for soil-atmosphere greenhouse gas fluxes
  
  
  - NO analyzer (Scintrex LMA-3) and backpack containing NO standard, gas sample dehumidifier, battery-operated pump and data logger
  
  
  - Tree-stem emissions of N2O and CH4
  
  
  
• Accompany and orient students for field measurements in study sites in Germany
  
• Build, purchase, pack and send materials and equipment for researches in the tropics
