Seminar series and excursion: Forest Resilience: Science and Practice
Forest Resilience: Science and Practice connects cutting-edge research with community engagement to better understand forest health and resilience.
The project consists of an online seminar series with international experts talking about forest health, climate impacts, and sustainable management, and a forest excursion in Göttingen, where the local community can experience forest research up close.
From satellite monitoring to understanding tree physiology, participants will discover how science supports resilient landscapes. The project bridges science and practice and connect knowledge about forest resilience across borders and disciplines, supporting young researchers in particular.
The project bridges research and practice, linking knowledge on forest resilience across borders and disciplines – with particular support for early-career researchers.
