Past retreats

09/2024: The annual meeting of CRC 1456 took place from 17 to 19 September. The program included three days of talks on the latest results of the projects, discussions and poster presentations. Ideas and experiences were exchanged between presentations.

11/2023: 3-day retreat (November 13-15) at the Evangelische Tagungsstätte Hofgeismar in the magical Reinhardswald. PhD students and postdocs came together to discuss their research in a relaxed atmosphere. Each session started with mini-tutorials on specific research areas, followed by short presentations of current projects. This time we had a different approach to presenting everyone's work: the participants were teamed up and one had to present the slides of the partner, in order to broaden the understanding of everyone's work in our diverse and interdisciplinary CRC. We thank all participants for their commitment and contribution to this event.

09/2023: 4th retreat (September 13-18) was only for the prinicpal investigators to discuss the Status Quo of the CRC 1456 and to prepare and intensify the 2. funding period.

03/2023: 3-day retreat (February 28 - March 02, 2023) at Kloster Drübeck to present the state of the relevant scientific disciplines through the different projects. For the more than fifty participants it was a perfect opportunity to discuss and to intensify already established work within the projects.
09/2022: Our 2nd CRC 1456 retreat (August 31- September 01,2022) was held at Hotel Hessenkopf (Goslar) and has presented the state of the relevant scientific disciplines through the different projects. For the more than fifty participants it was a perfect opportunity to discuss and to intensify already established work within the projects.

09/2021: Our 1st CRC 1456 retreat under Corona conditions (September 29 - October 01,2022) was held at the Evangelische Tagungsstätte Hofgeismar. For the 35 participants (mainly PhD students) it was a perfect opportunity to get to know each other and to intensify the relationship between the projects.
