MGK-Retreat 2026

Ebsdorfergrund, 05.-07.10.26: The MGK Retreat 2026 will take place October 05-07 in Schloßhotel Rauischholzhausen. The meeting serves to present the current status of the subprojects in project pitches and poster presentations. In addition, it will host the Methods Course "Theoretical Modelling of Nuclear Quantum Effects" by Prof. Ricardo Mata and there will be space for social activities.

Workshop on Artificial Intelligence

Göttingen, 19.11.26: Together with RTG 2756 (CYTAC) and RTG (BENCh), we offer an AI-Workshop with an expert of GDCh as trainer (Dr. Thorben Bonarius): KI-Kompetenz für Chemiker und Manager in Forschung und Entwicklung". The goal of the workhop is to equip researchers and R&D managers with the confidence to work with artificial intelligence in the workplace. What works in the lab: which tools are suitable for what, how to craft precise prompts, where the EU AI Act applies, and how to evaluate AI results. The course also fulfills the AI competency requirement under Article 4 of the EU AI Act.
